Hello parents, to celebrate Thanksgiving, I have engaged a colleague of mine from the HEARTZ foundation to collaborate with Bizbiruti school and children in need. Let’s make this THANKSGIVING be also about GIVING!
Following in the celebration of this American tradition, we want to inspire the spirit of solidarity and helping others in our children. This is an invaluable gift for our little ones. We are looking to collect school supplies and used children's books to donate them to rural schools in Escalerillas (materials will go to the children and also to school facilities).
We will be accepting donations in Bizbiruti between November 25th and 28th. The materials you can donate are organized into three categories:
Category 1: Used children's reading books (on various topics coinciding with different ages).
Category 2: Used school materials and accessories in good condition: notebooks, half-used notebooks, colors, pencils, pens, markers, rulers, scissors, pencil cases, lunch boxes and backpacks (they can also be new)
Category 3: Art or teaching supplies (seasonal decorations, arts or crafts supplies, recycled paper) that may be useful to teachers. Used things in good condition you no longer use at home are also welcome.
We can help a lot by sharing what we no longer use at home.
We can also recycle and help if not used.
